In Palm City, shops are busiest on Monday mornings and before holiday weekends, so a mid-week appointment gets a car seen faster. Labor rates across Florida vary by neighborhood and by shop type, from small independents to dealership service bays, and mobile mechanics now cover many routine jobs in the driveway. Before authorizing a repair, ask for the estimate in writing, whether the shop warranties parts and labor (12 months / 12,000 miles is common, some offer more), and whether it can provide a loaner or a shuttle. Check the listing for hours, the makes the shop works on and its Google rating, then call ahead, since walk-in capacity is limited at smaller shops.
Hours are published for 5 days a week. On most of those days it is open 9 amβ5 pm. Note that it does not open on Saturday, Sunday. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. You can reach Xtreme Cylinder Heads at (772) 286-1660; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. More information is available on its website, xtremecylinderheads.com.
Customers rate it 4.4 out of 5 on Google across 12 reviews, placing it among the better-regarded auto machine shops in Palm City.
Palm City is in Florida, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. Getting around Palm City is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Florida's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

It takes a certain kind of company to call a customer, and it is highly appreciated in this day and age. A handshake is as good as any contract in my mind, I'm glad to have reached out to them. Customer service is top notch!

Bill is inexcessible and needs a high school grad to schedule his alloy head, and porting productivity. My single 2.2L Dodge head is from a RARE Shelby Dodge from 1987. Its has been a work in progress for over 32 months...I tried to prepay the account, he refused. I live North about 46 miles and found his staff to be limited, out on Fridays, and NOT very enthusiastic about customer end results. MY head had only 8 valves, but the progress moved at a snail's pace. The website is totally impressive, but Bill must be only a consultant for HP hungry Porshe owners and two wheel custom Race bikes. GO anyplace Else that is family owned and operated, not devoid of signs and missing address ID except SUITE 2B, next to his garage door access. Charles Randall, DDS.

This guy is the master . I have a local business and have been to a few machine shops in my day but Bill is just the best ! Besides complicated European heads on a retail level he has done some master porting for me on heavily abused vehicles car and motorcycle . I've broke things that could not be attained and he has made them and saved the day . Really a stand up shop !

Iβve been to a variety of machine shops over the past 10 years and all I have to say is that Bill at Extreme Cylinder Heads is one of the most genuine and knowledgeable gentleman I have ever met in the business hands down. Not only is his machine work pin point accurate, his assembly skills are even more impeccable. Between high hp rated or rebuilding your stock head I would not only recommend but insist at stopping by Exteme Cylinder Heads, they have done nothing but deliver and also provided me with the best and most realistic pricing in the industry. I had not one but 2 High hp Heads go through his shop and I can honestly say Iβve never been more impressed with the amount of time, effort and most importantly detail these gentleman put into assembling these 2JZ heads. Bill and his team have not only given me a sense of security about the quality of build on my heads but have also made me feel like family just coming in and out of the shop. 5 Star review on ECH and 6 star review on Bill and his team(especially mike). Thanks Again Bill
